The Role: Special Prosecutor (Contract)

The Regional Directorate ANF Khyber Pakhtunkhwa requires the services of an energetic and hardworking Advocate to contest ANF Assets and Financial Investigation / Anti-Money Laundering cases as Special Prosecutor in the Special Courts (CNS), Anti-Smuggling Court, High Court and Appellate Court at Peshawar. It is a single, senior-level contract appointment for an experienced practising advocate not an entry-level post.

Eligibility Criteria

An advocate fulfilling the following criteria can apply as Special Prosecutor:

1. Advocate of High Court: The candidate should be a practicing Advocate of High Court.
2. Relevant Experience: The candidate must have experience of contesting criminal cases especially Narcotics cases and Assets / Money Laundering cases in Trial Courts, Anti-Smuggling Court, High Court and appellate Courts.
3. Bar Membership: The candidate must be a member of any Bar Association in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
4. Character & Residence: The candidate must be a citizen of Pakistan, resident of / settled in Peshawar, with no political affiliations. He must not be involved in any matter of misconduct or criminal case, must not have been dismissed from Government service, and must not have been declared as an insolvent.

Retainer & Terms

• Monthly retainership fee: negotiable up to Rs 110,000/- per month, inclusive of taxes.
• Annual increase: the retainer may be increased annually by up to 10%, depending on the performance of the Special Prosecutor.
• Important condition: during the period of contract with the Anti Narcotics Force, the selected candidate will not be allowed to appear as defence counsel in narcotics-related cases of any Law Enforcement Agency.
• Interviews will be conducted at the Regional Directorate ANF Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar. No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
