Good news Good news! Are you an IT professional, a SAP specialist, or a finance expert looking for a high-paying job within the Federal Government. The Controller General of Accounts Islamabad (CGA) has just announced a golden opportunity under its Project Management Unit (PMU).

They are hiring highly qualified Individual Consultants for the “Online Billing Solution (SEHAL)” project under the Public Financial Management Reforms at both Federal and Provincial levels.

These positions are purely on a contract basis for an initial period of one year, which is extendable based on your performance and the project’s requirements. Let’s dive deep into the available vacancies, the strict eligibility criteria, and the tricky two-step application process.

Quick Job Overview

Eligibility Criteria & Job Descriptions (Deep Dive)

Unlike standard government jobs, highly technical roles like BPC/SAC Planning Analyst or ABAP Programmer require very specific skill sets, certifications, and hands-on industry experience.

Where to find the exact qualifications? The official advertisement does not list the educational requirements directly. Instead, the CGA has uploaded the complete Job Descriptions, Terms of Reference (TORs), Qualification, Experience, and Lump-sum Pay details on the official FABS Directorate website.

Before you apply, you must follow these steps to check your eligibility:

1. Visit the official FABS website: www.fabs.gov.pk.

2. Navigate to the “Careers” or “Downloads” section to find the SEHAL Project TORs document.

3. Match your Degrees (e.g., BSCS, Master’s in IT, CA, ACCA, or MBA Finance) and your specific SAP Certifications with the requirements listed for your desired PPS scale.(Note: As these are PPS-07 to PPS-10 roles, expect a requirement of a highly relevant Master’s/Bachelor’s degree along with several years of specialized post-qualification experience).
